Meeting of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic with Starlink Representatives: Exploring New Horizons of Cooperation

A meeting between the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic (MDDR KR) and representatives of Starlink took place, marking an important step towards joint development of digital technologies in the country. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of satellite internet implementation and the development of necessary regulatory framework. Starlink representatives shared their experience and projects related to satellite internet worldwide and in the CIS countries, discussed potential challenges, and possible solutions. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to establish a working group to develop a pilot project of satellite internet to assess the feasibility of its implementation. The participants expressed hope for the successful development of cooperation and confirmed readiness to provide additional support in achieving mutually beneficial goals in the development of satellite technologies in Kyrgyzstan.
